You won’t be able to keep non-HCG dieters away from these tasty strips of flavorful beef accompanied by a delicious peanut sauce, which makes it a Caution food.
Ingredients: 

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce or Bragg liquid aminos
  • 1 TBSP peanut butter
  • 2 TBSP beef broth
  • 1 TBSP unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 10 drops Clear Stevia
  • Dash Frank’s Hot Sauce
  • 1 TBSP minced scallions


For the Meat:

  • 8 oz. beef tenderloin or sirloin steak, cut into long thin strips
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 small head Boston lettuce, core removed, leaves separated, washed and dried (alternatively serve steak with steamed broccoli)
  • 10 or 12 metal skewers
Directions: 

1. Combine sauce ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Taste for seasoning and Stevia, transfer to a dipping bowl and set aside.

2. Thread beef slices onto skewers. Season with salt and pepper; sprinkle lightly with curry powder.

3. Heat an oven broiler to high and cook skewered beef until edges are brown, about 2 minutes per side. Transfer to a heated platter, with or without skewers.

4. Serve immediately with the sauce and lettuce leaves for wrapping.
