Granny Smith Apple Pie

Crisp and tart, with a hint of cinnamon, this mock apple pie serving will warm you through and through.
Ingredients: 

Topping:

  • 1 grissini/breadstick crumbled
  • 1/8 tsp. powdered Stevia
  • Dash ground cinnamon
Directions: 

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.  Stem, peel, and halve the apple. Remove core, and cut into 1/2-inch slices. Arrange slices in a small pie pan or ramekin.

2. Combine the water, Capella drops, and Stevia and pour inside and around the apple. Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over evenly

3. Bake until apples are tender but still firm, and lightly browned on top, about 20 to 30 minutes. Serve warm.
