Smothered in sweet onions, this hearty entrée will satisfy the biggest appetite with delectable flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 7 oz. (200 g) lean ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 cups thinly sliced onions
  • 1 cup low sodium beef broth or water
  • 1 TBSP organic apple cider vinegar
  • 12 drops  Sweetleaf Stevia Grape
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
Directions:

1. In a medium bowl combine the beef, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Form into two 3.5oz oval shaped patties and set aside.

2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat and brown the patties, about three minutes per side, and transfer to a clean plate.

3. Add the onions to the skillet, sprinkle with salt and pepper and cook, stirring often, until just beginning to brown, about four minutes.

4. Combine the remaining ingredients, except for the parsley, in a small bowl and pour into the skillet. Stir well.

5. Return the patties to the pan, reduce the heat to medium low, cover, and cook until the onions have softened and the meat is cooked through, 6 to 8 minutes. Occasionally stir and turn over the patties to cook evenly.

6. Transfer the patties to a serving dish, top with the onion mixture, sprinkle with the parsley, and serve immediately.
