You should discuss all medication questions with your doctor. Let them know of your intentions to complete the HCG protocol and ask them if it is necessary or safe to come off your prescription medications. Dr. Simeons recommends in Pounds and Inches that patients be free of any and all prescription medications, but you need to discuss this with your doctor.

Dr. Simeons is clear in Pounds and Inches that medication may interfere with the HCG protocol, possibly resulting in slower losses. When considering the HCG protocol, you should discuss your particular prescription medication with your doctor to determine if the HCG protocol is right for you. If your doctor agrees, then coming off your prescription medications while on the HCG protocol will yield the best results.

Per Pounds & Inches, women are to stop taking HCG when their monthly cycle begins. In the past, it was thought that this only applied to women using prescription HCG injections. We now believe that women using HCG drops may also benefit from stopping their doses during their cycle, but it is not required.  However, if you would prefer to do so, we recommend that you stop for just the first 3 days of your period while continuing with VLCD. On the 4th day, resume taking your drops as normal ensuring that you complete a minimum of 21 days of HCG+VLCD.

No. While actively taking the HCG drops, you may store them on the counter for up to 3 months, plenty of time to complete VLCD. If you have leftover drops at the end of your round, you may store them in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.

Unopened, our drops have a shelf life of approximately 3 years. Once opened, the HCG drops can be stored unrefrigerated for up to 3 months, or refrigerated for up to 6 months. We recommend you keep the drops out of extreme heat (such as leaving them in a car or next to a hot stove) for an extended period of time.

Any weight loss program carries with it some element of risk. Since HCG is a naturally occurring hormone (in both men and women), there are no known side effects from the HCG drops. Please check with your doctor before beginning any weight loss program and do your own due diligence to make sure you understand the protocol as written by Dr. Simeons in Pounds and Inches.

The strength of our drops is the highest caliber available (6X, 12X, 30X, 60X). The various numbers indicate dilution strength, the more dilutions, the stronger the formula.

If you were to purchase prescription HCG and mix it directly with alcohol, you would, in fact, be deactivating the HCG. During the process of succussion, HCG is mixed and diluted with purified water and up to 20% alcohol. The alcohol acts as a preservative and does not have any effect on the effectiveness of the product.

Our HCG drops are alcohol-free and are preserved instead by Citric Acid, a 100% natural preservative.  That means these drops have no taste but have the very same strength of HCG and are just as effective as drops preserved with alcohol.

The HCG hormone causes your hypothalamus to mobilize the fat out of your fat storage locations so that it’s available for use.  You are still burning the 3000 calories that most people use during the course of a day BUT only 500 calories are coming from food.  That means 2500 calories are coming from your stored fat, which is how you are losing about a pound a day and doing it in a healthy way!

It is best to begin the HCG Protocol when you are able to commit to doing it properly. Women should begin after their menstrual cycle or, a minimum of 10 days prior to its onset. The bottom line is that the Protocol is easiest to stick to when there aren't any major events (like birthdays, holidays, weddings, etc.) or travel. This is because it is necessary to eat foods that need to be prepared at home, at least most of the time. Cooking takes time but allows you to better enjoy the flavors of the foods.
